Pat and BillTogether we are a small office, a husband and wife team. We accept only the number and kind of commissions that we can handle by ourselves. We commit our time to the personalized attention and client satisfaction that a  small practice affords. We believe this is the best way to be great residential architects.

Both William Curtis, A.I.A., and Patricia Emmons, A.I.A., are accomplished architects, artists and educators.

William Curtis, A.I.A. Student Gold Medal recipient, Fulbright scholar and American Institute of Indian Studies to India, has practiced architecture since 1952. As a professional sculptor, he has exhibited his beautiful forms throughout the Pacific Northwest. Bill has a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in Sanskrit, and he is a professor Emeritus in the Department of Architecture at the University of Washington.

Patricia Emmons has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and English, and master's degrees in architecture and English. She has taught architecture courses in Seattle and abroad. Licensed to practice architecture in 1983, Pat is also a painter, and her abstract landscapes are in collections in the United States and Europe.
