wife team. We accept only the number and kind of commissions
that we can handle by ourselves. We commit our time to the
personalized attention and client satisfaction that a small
practice affords. We believe this is the best way to be
great residential architects.
Both William
Curtis, A.I.A., and Patricia Emmons, A.I.A., are
accomplished architects, artists and educators.
William
Curtis, A.I.A. Student Gold Medal recipient, Fulbright
scholar and American Institute of Indian Studies to India,
has practiced architecture since 1952. As a professional
sculptor, he has exhibited his beautiful forms throughout
the Pacific Northwest. Bill has a bachelor's degree in
architecture and a master's degree in Sanskrit, and he is a
professor Emeritus in the Department of Architecture at the
University of Washington.
Patricia
Emmons has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and English, and
master's degrees in architecture and English. She has taught
architecture courses in Seattle and abroad. Licensed to
practice architecture in 1983, Pat is also a painter, and
her abstract landscapes are in collections in the United
States and Europe.
